School Daze

Kay poked through the mass on her tray. She didn't think it looked like food, but them again this was an entirely new world.

Cassie's cold had cleared up. She swooped in and sat by her so-called cousin.

"So Kay" she began "How's your first day?"

"It's OK" she said "A little strange though""I don't understand the meaning of the strange talking box with the flashing lights"

"You mean a computer" Cassie said "They're really not all that hard to use"

Kay brought her fork back to her tray "This world is just so..."

She dropped her fork and watched fixatedly as Ivan walked by.

"You really need to talk to him" Cassie said "Ivan's a great guy""And trust me, you'll never get anywhere unless you talk to the guy you like"

She waved at Robin as he sat down at a different table. He waved back, and secretly blew her a kiss. Which caused her face to be enveloped in a blush.

After a while the bell rang and the students dispersed to their classes.Unknowing of what was going to happen next.
