Abstract Success

Well, alright. If this wand was supposed to improve the lives of anyone it was swung in the direction of, then the way Cassie figured it this girl across the street would make for an interesting test subject. Even if something went wrong, the results would not be as disastrous as they could possibly be.

The goth pulled back, frowning. She was still a bit hesitant, but at the same time she knew that if she was going to do this she needed to step on it. The girl was walking and would soon be out of sight after all...

"Fine, screw it." Without thinking any more on the subject, Cassie waved the object given to her by Mint in the direction of the girl in the red shirt, and then held her breath as she waited to behold the results.

She did not have to wait long at all. Suddenly, the girl's hair seemed to retract into her, growing shorter while it did, and she herself grew taller with dimensions changing. By the time things stopped, this unfamiliar girl was now an unfamiliar boy. And Cassie almost tossed the wand to the ground right then at what seemed like a failure, and very well would have were it not for the fact that the boy in question appeared to be stunned into happiness, before he practically took off running for joy.
