“Do it” Colonel Cornell took decisive action as Major Jude Arnold volunteered to become the first member of the BioArmor Assault Battalion of Earth.

“This will tickle a little,” the teenage girl had an uncharacteristically somber expression, “as the BKN interfaces with your system. The will be a few changes to make your physiognomy compatible with the system, but everything will be restored to normal within the confines of Tandy once the Venusians depart.” She chuckled and the major felt a chill go down his spine. “Just don’t leave town.” 

With a gesture, a lethal assortment of military hardware silently exploded and hurled itself toward the stoic major slamming into his suddenly fluid form. He felt his uniform slide through the remains of his body as the equipment began assembling into a series of overlapping spheres filled with alien circuitry. The major’s flesh regained solidity as it began interfacing with the the contact surface lining the interior of the BKN. An operations manual appeared in Major Arnold’s mind as fine fibers of neurotransmission fibers attached to each hair follicle. A multi-spectral 360 view of the park presented itself as the major became aware of the attraction and repulsion projectors and their operation.

Your suit armor is designed to absorb psionic attacks… Oh and your clothing and effects are stored in a compartment in the lower front of the suit… Just in case you need to evacuate before the suit reverts at the end of the battle.>

“Major, you will acquaint the rest of the troops with the operation of the Bio-Armor” Cornell’s command rang out.

“Colonel, I..” the major was startled to hear the distorted voice emitting from the entire surface of the armor. As Arnold was about to explain the inbuilt on-board instructions in the strange lilting voice, the Venusians attacked…
