The Deprived, and an Offer

"Ah, the Deprived, I wonder what this one represents, or if it is truly enchanted, tell you what kid, how about a favour?" Mercer asked.
"What kind of favour?" Cassie replied, slightly intrigued.
"I'll lend you a card, and you find out what it does and bring the card back to the shop, tell me the results of your little card test, and then we'll switch it for a different card. This way I can better inform my future customers about the cards, and as a show of gratitude, you get to pick from the cards you test, and you get your choice free of charge." Mercer explained.
"How many cards would I have to test?" Cassie asked.
"Shall we say, five to start with, and you can choose whether or not to continue. I'll even throw in a Magical Canceller of mine, that way you can free people of the Tarot Card's effects if you so wish, I'll even say you can have one free card for every five you test, deal?"

This was a pretty interesting offer to Cassie, as it allowed her to have a bit of magical fun, and she got a free gift too.
