Milo saves Anne and friends

the door to The Magic Touch swung open, and their stood Milo who urges the trio into his shop.

"Whats going on Milo?" Anne asked, not hesitating to hurry down the stares, which she jumped over completely, and into his store with Jason and Robin close behind.

"Aliens are invading." Milo plainly said, taking a moment to calm himself. "I never had to worry about anything like this before...." he said with a sigh, before moving to a old looking cabinet, he carrying a pile of books much too large for it, but he pushed them into the magic bookshelf, where they shrunk down into it. "I'd better put everything I can away for safe keeping." he said, packing more away.

"But what do you think they want?" Anne asked, looking around the room for a second, she looking over bare shelves, and paused on a strange pink glowing ruby. "whats that?" she asked, seeming fixated on it.

"I hadn't learned about it yet, I just got that in." he said, managing to pack away the last of his goods.

"Any more room in that cabinet?" Jason asked, walking over to it, robin standing at the window, watching for danger.

"Well yes, but it leads into another dimension, one I have no idea of what is on the other side." he said, and opened the door, showing a glowing vortex of sorts. "if theirs anything I need that I put into it, I think of it, and it comes back out."

"thats it!" Robin cried, running over to the cabinet. "we can use this to get to safety!"

"but what about others?" asked Anne, poking holes in his logic, but before she could continue...
