Anne transported herself to Arlington National Memorial Park. She saw a woman with grey hair and a checkered blouse overseeing work crews of women constructing picnic tables and barbecue grills. The US capitol could be seen across the river and was a buzz with construction projects. "Jamie!" Anne called out to the first female president. "How is the transformation going?" "Hello, Anne" the elder stateswoman’s southern drawl seemed at odds with the ongoing construction teams, "We've had a few more protesters. I'd appreciate it if you would talk some reason to them. Many women feel that we are dishonoring the memories of their fathers or husbands by disinterring them and disassembling the cemetery." Across the Potomac River, presidential monuments had displays for the wives and mothers of great leaders. A new Terran Defense Forces ring had replaced the Pentagon at the edge of the Memorial Park. The only remains of the former cemetery would be the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, a monument to Women at War, and the new National Memorial Crypt, a subterranean monument built to hold the remains of those formerly interred within the Park. A new visitor center would allow those interested to view the life records of those within the crypt either in personal or over the Galactic Web. Anne left to visit...
