Dark Tarot Cards

Cassie walked back into The Dead Mans' Hand to see Mercer polishing the counter

"Back so soon" he said

"I want another card" she said

Herman thought for a moment and smiled "You know something kid, I like you" he said "So much so that I'm going to give you a very special gift"

"What kind of gift" she asked

He pulled out a large black box.He opened it revealing a box covered with slips of paper and small chains which led to a strange looking lock.

"This kind" he said

She looked at the box and recognized what was on the outside "Those are curse bindings" she said
 
"You really know your stuff" Mercer said "Inside this box is the worlds only set of Dark Tarot Cards."

"Dark Tarot Cards" she repeated

"Yep" he answered "Dark versions of the Tarot Cards everyone knows""If you want one I'll let you have one, but let me warn you I don't even know what these things can do"

He removed the paper and unlocked the box. He removed a deck of black cards from the box shuffled them and put five in front of her.

"Pick a card" he said
