Birds of Prey

"I've got to meet Robin and Jason" Anne said "I'll be back home in time for dinner" she said on her way out.

Anne walked to the mall where Robin and Jason were waiting.Jason was reading a comic book, and Robin was dodging the advances of a crow that was trying to perch on him.

"It's been following me for the past three blocks" he complained "Can you get it away from me"

Anne walked up to Robin "Repellum" she said. The crow was knocked aside. As it flew away, Anne noticed that it had a small gold bracelet on its leg.


"Let's go" Anne said "I say we head to the arcade first"

And with that,they went inside.Meanwhile the crow took refuge on top of the building.Soon the crow was joined by a falcon, a hummingbird,and an owl.

The falcon,hummingbird, and owl changed shape.The hummingbird became a small girl, the owl became a boy just a little older than the girl, and the falcon bexame a tall muscular man.The crow became a girl Robin's size and age.
All four of them were wearing long,tan cloaks.

"So Maria" the falcon man said "What do you have to report?"

"I've found him,Master Joseph" she said "I found the Hawk"

Their eyes widened "Are you sure" the owl boy asked

"I'm absolutely certain" Maria said pointing to the bracelet on her ankle"The braclet responded to him""He's the Hawk"

The hummingbird girl smiled "I can't believe we finally found him" she said

"But is he ready to join us?" the owl boy asked

"I don't know, Clark" she said

"Challenge him" Joseph said

They all looked at him "Are you sure Maria should fight him" Clark said "Maybe he should face someone weaker like Nina"

"I'm not weak" Nina snapped

"If he truly is the Hawk, then he should be able to hold his own against the Crow" he said "Challenge him and report your findings to me"

"Yes Master" Maria said

They returned to their bird forms and flew away.Maria removed her cloak, revealing her gothic martial arts uniform, and jumped down from the building to the ground.

"I'm coming for you, Hawk" she thought as she entered the building

Anne, Robin and Jason were leaving the arcade.Jason was smiling and Anne was frowning.

"You know, I'd Ka-Girl you if you didn't like it" she said angrily

"You're such a sore loser" Jason said "So I beat you at DDR, big deal"

"I never lose at DDR" Anne said jumping up and down like a five year old "It's not fair"

"Would you two cut it out already?" Robin asked

Suddenly the were approached by a girl in dark clothing "Hello" she said

Sensing danger,Anne stepped in front of the boys.

"What do you want" she asked

"Nothing from you...." she said moving past Anne and stepping in front of Robin"Bu there is something I want from him"

Robin stepped back "What is it" he asked

"Do you like the martial arts?" she asked

"Yes,I study martial arts" he answered

She stepped back and took a battle pose "Then fight me" she said

Robin stepped back again in shock.

"I know you're good" Maria said "You may be even better then you know""And I want to see what you can do""So...will you fight me?"
